I’ve just paid off the “Costa Rica move” part of my credit card debt to date. 99% of it is (and has been, for months) Costa Rica-related.

Another $451 will need to come out on August 24th after the vet gets here to examine Charli.

I am hoping the garage sales bring in enough to get the laptop…

A dear friend is sending me a neck pillow for the plane that can hold as much as three days’ of underwear or other soft items, so that will free up some space in the Sterilite bins so maybe I can take my four piece Pride “silverware” (not silver, but you know what I mean). That would be cool. Lisa bought the set for me several years ago and I love it–but obviously it can’t go in my carry-on or I’d be carried off as a knife-toting lunatic! LOL!

I have to spend a lot of money to get to a country where I can save a lot of money, and since AI took away my writing income almost two years ago, I’m living on a puny retirement income, which just covers my necessities up here. I don’t have much “disposable income” or savings to play with so I’m relying (heavily!) on the kindness of friends and strangers to help me get to a better place where my retirement income WILL support me without major stress.

Please help if you can. Those who have (and do) will have a standing invitation to stay with me in CR if you ever get down that way in about a year. (Until then, I will be settling in and finding my way around in a whole new world! I hope to find a two-bedroom that’s within my budget so that whoever visits will have their own “sanctuary” while you’re with me…
