A/B Split Testing

Macro A/B testing is pitting two quite different pieces of copy against each other to see which one converts best. Micro A/B split testing pits two almost identical sales pieces to see which one converts best.

A/B split testing lets you discover which of two sales pieces converts best

If you clicked on this link, you probably already know what A/B split testing is and you’re looking for a professional copywriter who can write A/B ads OR review your existing ad or other sales copy and come up with ways to help it measurably convert more of your potential customers into “done deal” buyers.

Because as the old theatrical saying proclaims,  “If it ain’t on the page, it ain’t on the stage!” and not everybody is a wordsmith, or I’d be out of a job!

Macro A/B testing is pitting two quite different pieces of copy against each other to see which one converts best.  Micro A/B split testing pits two almost identical sales pieces to see which one converts best. With micro testing, the difference between the two pieces might be as seemingly minor as changing a single word in the headline. Or it might require changing something else word-wise, or the image, or the font, or the background color. (Some people have seen a jaw-dropping boost in their conversion rates simply because they swapped  out their “BUY” button for another option. It happens!)

But whenever hundreds (or thousands, or millions) more dollars hang in the balance,  you need to find out what works best so those additional bucks go into your pockets.

And once you find the winner, it never hurts to A/B split test it against another idea that some brainiac professional writer dreamed up.

I love beating my best—something that’s converting like gangbusters—with something even better. There are times when I’ll wake up in the middle of the night after experiencing  a “Eureka!” moment and rush to my computer to email a client to say, “My muse just delivered something sensational! Split test this!!!”

My aim, always, is to help you succeed. Let’s do this!
