I’m getting my national news almost exclusively from the MeidasTouch Network these days. It’s fearless, infused with legal experts, indefatigable and incorruptible. They’re sounding mighty macho these days and filled with unbridled hubris but in their case, I’m okay with that. I wish there were more DEMS with their sense of commitment and determination to right the wrongs that have been and are being wrought by the Trump regime. These are the kind of people we need to retain, protect, and preserve the system of government so assiduously forged by the Founding Fathers.

The MeidasTouch Network is regularly beating Fox, Joe Rogan and all the other disinformation talking heads in the ratings game. They have a plethora of options to choose from, so there’s something for every kind of thinking viewer/listener.

I also like the Thom Hartmann radio show which airs here in Washington State from nine to noon weekdays. I don’t spend an inordinate amount of time listening to news shows these days, because I’m a short-timer here in the U.S. and because I’m more focused on getting the hell OUT, but I do tune in at least briefly each day to keep abreast of the movers and shakers who are arrayed AGAINST what the Trump regime in intent on doing.

The Thom Hartmann shows give me crucial info; the MeidasTouch shows give me the all-critical hope.  This simply cannot be the way the U.S. system of government dies. I simply cannot and will not believe that we’re on the eve of destruction, no matter how diligently Trump, Musk, Putin and their confederates are intent on achieving that end. The MeidasTouch folks are working every day to let us know what’s going on and what is being done to fight back against the forces that are trying to destroy the U.S. government’s ability to serve “of, by, and for the people.”

My third goto news source is NPR. They win journalistic awards left and right for their coverage of breaking news and other special features. In fact, they’re the most awarded network (to date), with something SCORES of major awards.  (Fox has won zero awards. DUH!)

I want to believe, with Martin Luther King Jr, that the moral arc of the universe is long, but it bends toward justice. I will always vote to achieve that end. These networks and shows keep that belief alive…
