I’m One of the “Ten Best Copywriters in Los Angeles”

Guess who’s in the Thumbtack “spotlight” when you do a search on “The Ten Best Copywriters in Los Angeles”?

Thumbtack originally put me in the spotlight as a “top essay writer” in New York (where I’ve never lived) because I’ve satisfied every one of my clients in 2015 and 2016.

I asked them if they could put me in Seattle-Tacoma where I actually live and list my true forte: copy writing.

Since there  is already a spotlight in Seattle touting another provider, they offered me four other major market locations:

Atlanta, Chicago, New York and Los Angeles

Los Angeles felt best because I actually lived there for 14 years.

And it’s perfect placement because the mention that DeForest Kelley launched my writing career will resonate there…

So I’m a happy camper today. I’m amazed there wasn’t already a spotlighted provider in Los Angeles.

I’m amazed there isn’t a spotlighted provider in the other three major markets they offered me, too.

I know the requirement to be in a Thumbtack Spotlight is that you have to make your clients happy 100% of the time. But it seems odd to me that major market providers aren’t passing that test, too.

I guess it just goes to show you that there are a lot of wannabe’s out there who have hung shingles proclaiming themselves copywriters but not making the grade when it comes to actually satisfying all of their clients.

I feel blessed, honored and respected today to be among the ten best copywriters in Los Angeles this year…

I wish De and Carolyn and Mom and Dad were alive to see it! I know they’d be busting their buttons.
