Limiting my Exposure to Toxic Truth is Working Wonders

April 25, 2024

Limiting my exposure to toxic truth is working wonders for me. I’ve put a timer on so I get reminded to STOP after thirty minutes should I linger over it even that long.

I use the time to share (on Facebook, usually) the most crucial updates I can find. I make sure MediaBiasFactCheck rates the sources HIGH as far as fact-checking so I’m not sharing rumors, gossip, innuendo, or disinformation (propaganda created by entities seeking to obscure or deny truthful depictions of people and happenings).

And then I feel I’ve done all I can do to get the word out without marinating in the angst that the news delivers on a daily basis.

I feel as long as I’m doing this every day, I’m doing what I can without falling into anxiety and depression because of what a failure to know this information might deliver to this nation and to the world: another term for the Orange Menace, who is hellbent on demolishing our democratic republic altogether in pursuit of his selfish financial and male white supremacist goals.
