Every red-blooded American needs to call their Congress Critters and demand that they create a “carve out” for the John Lewis Voting Rights Bill so the GOP doesn’t eternally steal away citizens’ rights to choose their own representatives beginning in 2022.

I don’t care what side of the political spectrum you’re on, but if you’re okay with the precariousness of our very existence as a teetering democratic republic, you are living in La La Land. This is going to the straw that breaks the camel’s back.
We draw the line right here, or we’re sunk, and there will be a mass exodus from the U.S. as has never been seen before in our history. Instead of people wanting to come here, people will be fleeing. Those who remain (including, eventually, the overlords) will suffer and perish from their shortsightedness and foolhardiness. A GOP-run country will look like Hitler’s Germany. Only rich, white, racist, sexist, misogynistic, xenophobic, autocratic tyrannical men will have any real power, and others will be in line for subjugation and maltreatment, including (possibly) extermination. Far right lunatics are in charge of the GOP now, and they’re all seemingly of the sociopathic bent: cruelty isn’t a bug, it’s a feature.
I don’t think we have ever lived in more perilous times, and the threat is internal, not external (although the insiders now gravely threatening our democracy appear to have had a heap of help from foreign meddling tyrants):
