WHY BOTHER???
Because I just can’t give up on her! She is a better person than her voting record would indicate.
I know she isn’t a self-starter as a learner by nature, and she knows that. If fact she calls herself dumb and stupid, when she is neither! She’s just terribly susceptible to disinformation/propaganda and fear-mongering from the right because she isn’t well-read and curious about other cultures and perspectives. She has zero (close, trusted) friends of color or of other cultures.
I feel SORRY for her
…and sorry for the rest of us for the way she votes; her votes don’t serve in her best interest or in the majority’s best interest. They serve the people who want to keep/make us subservient and obedient: the cruel, despotic, sociopathic Epstein Class of oligarchs, the fascists among us who abrogate our rights, violate our laws, sidestep the checks and balances that were placed to rein in the worst of human behaviors, and run roughshod over our future without regard for the destruction and suffering that it causes to everyone including her granddaughters and their eventual families.
She thinks T-Wreck’s policies are protecting her but how is such delusion even possible anymore? I simply cannot understand how anyone can be that blind to the dismantling of our government, rights and decency.
It’s a MYSTERY to me.
I’ll never understand.
T-Wrecks is a Puppet
…a useful idiot (temporarily), as are Vance, Miller, and even Musk. The puppet masters behind them (among them Vile Putin) are dismantling civilization, living in bunkers or within well-fortified fortresses, preparing to eliminate “useless eaters” (see Curtis Yarvin), which they consider to be everyone but them, their ilk, and their human serfs/drones.
So, that includes retired people, people who reject them and fight back, ill people, crippled people… the list goes on (including Jesus’s “least of these”). Most people realize they are on the elimination list, after all this time.
People needs to wake up and pay attention.
The information is out there (for now!) for all of us to research. Google Palantir, Philip Yarvin, Peter Thiel, JD Vance, Elon Musk. NOT their glossy home pages and websites. Ask AI about their controversial personal philosophies. They are rich, powerful dudes with dangerous mindsets. What you’ll discover may well horrify you! It did me!
Anyone who researches them dispassionately (like Mr. Spock would) will come away with a disquieting feeling and sense of urgency. These people are anathema to the ethos of self-determination that the United States was founded on. They’re authoritarian despots, Caligulas and Neros: self-regulating, self-satisfied, and dangerously situated to wreak havoc on all of our lives.
We need to do everything legally and morally possible to disempower them or I believe we’re all doomed. (Not hyperbole.)
There are many more of us than they are of them (at the moment!). Some of the powers that be reportedly plan to reduce our numbers to improve their odds, certainly (sooner rather than later), but for right now we outnumber them hundreds of thousands to one… no, millions and millions to one, globally! We’d better do something about them while we still have the numbers and the opportunity.
Start by voting BLUE all down your ballots. That’s the next/present most logical step. Doing that will buy us some breathing room while we decide on the next steps to take to get their out-sized boots off our necks and their claws off our destiny.
Taking control of the House and Senate will give DEMS the leverage we need to start making inroads into developing a future for everyone you love and all of the people they love all around the world.
