Long Term Youtube Script Writer (Technical Content)

Hi, I’m currently looking for a long-term script writer to help write scripts for my YouTube channel. We cover technical topics like:

– Best CRM for Digital Marketing
– Best Website Builders for E-commerce
– Best Email Marketing Suite for 2024

I’m looking for a writer that’s able to research and write scripts for these videos, covering technical topics.  You don’t have to have hands-on experience with every tool, as research should be relatively straightforward with Chat GPT + Google Search for articles written about this very topic. (HAH!)

Budget: $100 (not per hour — for the whole thing!)

This is the kind of crap I have to wade through, hours every day, to find the few worthwhile topics that pay well enough to make them worth the effort, and when I do find them I’m often competing with 50+ other writers who have gone through the same painful slog to find them, too. It can require 50+ connects (all cost money) to submit a quote that employers will actually see in a tsunami of respondents. Most writing projects start at 16 connects.

Upwork is among the hardest places to find projects that won’t bankrupt you before you land anything substantial.

I’m only there because I’m top rated and so people sometimes reach out to me (for free) without me having to submit quotes, but I do occasionally find projects I really want to work on, so I submit for those.

I don’t know how a newbie could survive on Upwork as a writer without an extensive portfolio and as many 5-star reviews as I have. Even I have a tough time making a living on Upwork, which I have nicknamed Upchuck so I can keep a sense of humor about the slog!

Which I am going to say right now. Thank you!
