Facebook FUBAR Won’t Let Me In

March 5, 2024

This morning, Facebook defaulted to the login page when I tried to login that way. It said the password I used was old, so I looked at my notes and entered the new one. That one didn’t work, either, so I selected “Forgot password” and was pointed to my FB page see if it’s the one I wanted. It was, so they sent me a passcode (eight different times!!! three different codes!!), none of which worked.

I can access FB from my smartphone, but not from my Kindle.  What a PITA!  Facebook is how most people stay in touch with me, including the folks I’ll be flying out to see in New Zealand. Luckily, they have my phone number and email address, too, so I can let them know in those ways that FB has me shut out until whatever FUBAR issue they’re dealing with gets worked out…

Sheesh!

FB also won’t let me post the URLs direct to my blog posts anymore if I tag the people I most want to see them. I have to post without tagging anyone to stay within their “anti-spam” rules. Really?!  If I was spamming people they would unfriend me, for Pete’s sake!

Unbelievable!

Happy Birthday to me, Facebook.  Rucking fidiculous!
