My Fitbit keeps applauding me for various milestones that I’ve achieved over the past few days.
Most of my exercise has been indoors, but I’ve managed to log 10K steps for four days running, and today I’m up to 20,103 steps so far (at 3:27 p.m.) because it’s a decent day outside — 50 degrees –so I decided to take my four mile loop and an additional trip to the end of my street and back in addition to the 10K I logged indoors this morning.
I feel like an athlete, even though I don’t yet look much like one. I will be so happy when the weather moderates so Lisa and I can start riding bikes again. That’s by far my favorite form of exercise, and I plan to do a lot of it this year. (It’s safe, even with Omicron, to ride bikes because it’s outdoors in natural, un-peopled surroundings.)
My Fitbit sure is keeping me motivated!
