And a person in my networking group gave me a testimonial today saying that when I copy-enhanced her existing website her secretary started taking copy from it to use when responding to inquiries via email, and ever since she started doing that, their conversion rate has skyrocketed! I joked, “That’ll be extra!” The whole room laughed! Then I said, “Just joking. When I write something for you, you can use it as many ways as you want to forever.” NOW they’re understanding the true value (ROI) of hiring a pro!
I’m looking over other websites now of networking folks who are “getting it” and wanting me to help their copy sell.
Another individual also underscored the value of the copy that’s on a site. In essence what he said was SEO is important, but if the copy is crap (written only for search engines) it won’t convert browsers into buyers.
I don’t know what “high” feels like, but I feel the natural version of it right now. I think it’s JOY and a bit of euphoria!
