Welcome to Sunday Sit and Spin. (Hey, I had to come up with a headline that’s at least semi-intriguing. This one serves the purpose, although it’s going to attract parents instead of my usual “diary” followers!)
For those who are looking for Sit and Spin toys, try this URL. I didn’t intend to mislead you, I’m just really into alliteration! But hey, you might like what you find here, too! You’ll never know until you try!)
For those of you wondering what I “caught” (on camera/video) by baiting my patio table with delectable fruits:
I caught nothing last night. My as-yet-unidentified nocturnal fruit-eating rascals didn’t make an appearance, much to my chagrin.
I’ll keep trying. It’s only a matter of time. They/it came two nights in a row previously!
Come out, come out, wherever you are… pizote/coatimundi, agouti, raccoon, kinkajou, fruit bat, ??? I wanna know who you are!
Not Walking This Morning with Cindy
As usual, I’m not walking with Cindy and her dogs this morning. I skip Sundays and Wednesdays.
Most Wednesdays I take the bus to Grecia to shop and eat at Subway. Once a month I get bloodwork done at Clinica Sanchez to check my INR level. Those are my scheduled outings. I also sometimes take a bus in on another day of the week, or I ride in with Cindy when she goes.
Costa Rica — my new home as of Sept. 4, a year ago — is a wonderland. I live in the mountains above Grecia, in San Isidro de Grecia, so the weather here is nearly always within a few degrees, winter and summer, between 65 degrees F to 80 degrees (usually around 78 degrees, average).
I’ll post a few local (Grecia, El Cajon, San Isidro de Grecia) images for you sit and spin parents who haven’t been to this blog before:

That’s enough into for my Sit and Spin newbies. You can find out more by reading my earlier blog posts or visiting the About Me page here. I hope you like it here!
For the Rest of Y’all…
my online tribe, please let me know what more you’d like to know about me or my life here in Costa Rica, or about anything else that you’d like me to weigh in on. If you want to email me, you can do so at krisATwordwhispererDOTnet. That’s the quickest way to reach me unless you have my WhatsApp number. Not many people have that.
