Lisa sent four concept covers for my new book. I loved them all. It was hard deciding which one to choose. (She is a wizard, getting so good at creating them!!!)
The one I have settled on is this (I’ll replace the link with an image as soon as Lisa sends me a jpeg of the cover. It had to originate as a PDF to meet KDP’s specs):
My goal (I decided, after seeing the first two concepts she sent) was to have the person on the cover look androgynous so it doesn’t leave any potential readers feeling left out. And although this image reminds me of a young Peter Fonda, the being is androgynous-looking enough, so I’m happy with it! The only thing I asked her to change was to delete the suspenders in her third concept, to help underscore the androgynous look.
I will get the publication underway today, so the print might publish as early as tomorrow. The Kindle version might be delayed by a day or so as I need a JPG or TIFF to publish the front cover.
Stay tuned!
