One of the triggers explained by Joe Sugarman in his copywriting book TRIGGERS is SCARCITY.
I’m going to use it to see if that might be the magic potion that gets my Ideal Clients to pay attention.
Here’s my new Profile cover letter at Upwork:
PRICE IS ONLY A PROBLEM WHEN VALUE (ROI) IS A MYSTERY. — John Assaraf
I paid Kris $900 to write an evergreen post card and got a $25,000 return on my investment in less than two months. – J. M. Sells, Attorney, Ohio
You are the best copywriter I’ve ever worked with, and I’ve worked with many. You are fast, talented, reasonably priced, and a joy to work with and to know. — Teryl McLane, Scholastic Book Fairs
Kris’s words helped me make a $2500 sale the day I implemented his vocabulary into my sales script. (Price of Enhanced Sales Script: $220)– Sheryl L. Lynn, CA
Kris is the answer. I submitted a posting for copywriters to help me with my crowdfunding profile. More than 50 people applied, and Kris was the only one who knew how to really speak to me as a potential client… so I had a hunch that he probably also knows how to speak to my audience. I met with him and immediately realized the depth of his expertise. For our small business, yes, budget is ReALLy important… but if we just focus on getting the cheapest deal we can find, we will never survive. Kris was not the cheapest deal we could find. He clearly positioned himself that way. He knows the value of his work and that’s the type of people that our small business will MAKE room in our budget for. We want to work with professionals that can deliver meaningful results above all else and Kris is 100% that. I was very pleased with his work and the precision of his language. He grabs attention, keeps it, tells a consistent story, concisely, for the end goal of conversion. Really beautiful work… and as a bonus, he’s a beautiful human being as well! I will definitely be working with Kris again… and while I hope this review brings Kris more work, I hope it’s not so much that we can’t keep hiring him! He’s fantastic and a professional– and I highly recommend that if you want a good copywriter, you hire Kris.” – Eli Dent 2/’21

LOOKING FOR A PROFESSIONAL COPY/CONTENT/FEATURE WRITER AND EDITOR?
LOOK NO FURTHER!
But PLEASE NOTE: I’m semi-retired. I’m available just fifteen hours per week, Mon-Fri.
If you’re looking for a tried-and-true copy/content/feature writer and editor with stellar reviews and conversion rates that satisfy and frequently astound, WELCOME!
Reach out NOW to claim a handful of my working hours.
I’m not submitting many quotes here on Upwork these days because too few potential clients on this platform understand the enormous value of evergreen copy and content, and spinning my wheels for days and weeks on end looking for the needles in the haystack simply isn’t something I’m willing to do anymore.
So, if you’ve found this listing on your own, without receiving a cover letter or quote from me, consider it kismet!
If you operate in any of the niches I serve as a copy/content/feature writer or editor, please reach out and ask for my cover letter, or simply look at my existing portfolio and reviews/testimonials to satisfy yourself that I’m the full meal deal.
Be sure to review “My Ideal Client” in my portfolio to find out if I’m right for you!
If I am…
What can I make happen for you today?
Let’s get ‘er done!
Pulling the Scarcity Trigger just might work…
What do you think? It’s 100% accurate: I am semi-retired and only want an additional ten to fifteen hours of work per week in addition to my usual clients (who use me only occasionally). I want to spend most of the rest of my life doing additional things that I love: biking, playing pickleball, hanging with my friends and pets.
Yes, I love writing. But I don’t want to spend hour after hour every day for weeks looking for the rare needle in the haystack anymore at Upwork: clients willing to pay what I’m worth. I am soooo OVER doing that! If I factor in all the hours I’ve spent doing that alone, I’m probably making minimum wage…and that’s rucking fidiculous!!!
