Took a quick Saturday bus trip to Grecia this morning. Charli needed more creamy treats so she wouldn’t call the ASPCA on me.  She’s happy! (I was down to two because Henry didn’t have any at his local pet store yesterday when I popped in to get more. HORRORS!)

Also ate a hamburger and bought two porkchops and a new cowboy hat at Mercado Municipal. (Picture of hat above.)

I stopped at the same souvenir store where I bought the first cowboy hat to see if they had a hat string tightener to replace the one I lost last month.

The customer service representative looked thoroughly but didn’t find one. So, I bought a new hat for about $12 USD. I can use it’s tightener on both hats easily enough.  (When it gets windy, it’s crucial to be able to tighten the cord so the hat doesn’t blow away.)

In the corner of the TV screen in the soda where I ate, there was the CR flag and the legend Libertad para Siempre. (Translation: Liberty Forever;  or, literally, Liberty for Always)

While I waited for the hamburger to arrive, the vintage TV show GET SMART was playing on an elevated screen.  (In Spanish, of course.) Sadly, the volume was turned too low for me to be able to hear it, but it was fun watching about half of the episode while I waited.

That’s about all I did today other than vegetate and write this blog post.

Saturdays are like that; yeah, they are!
