My New HP V21 Monitor is Terrific!!!

May 9, 2021

My 10+ year old 18″ Envision monitor has been trying to give up the ghost for the past several days, so this morning bright and early I bought a 21″ HP model, and I love it!

What a difference 1o years makes in the resolution quality of a monitor.  This one is so much easier on the eyes, and it only cost $109.89, tax included.  It’s a HP V21.

I’m going to enjoy working again, now that I don’t have to fight the monitor to present a screen.  I was getting this with my older one:

The scariest part was that I was updating my PC with Dell updates and they were taking hours to upload (because Century Link’s so-called HA HA HA HA HA HA HA high speed Internet is more like dial up than high speed!!! I am going to bitch about that to them as soon as I finish this post and see if I can get them to refund some of my money OR deliver truly high speed internet: if I get no satisfaction, I am going to switch services), and the monitor stopped displaying what was going on about 4/5ths of the way through, and the warning on the update said not to unplug any peripherals during the update because it could fry the peripherals or the PC… so I couldn’t see if the update had completed.

I kept trying to get an image on the screen (for 90 minutes) and finally got one. The update hadn’t taken effect yet, because I had to reboot.  So I did that and then everything fell into place.  I knew then that I could plug in the new monitor without worrying about frying it or the PC. I was mighty stressed out until then!

Anyway, I am 100% delighted with this new monitor.  I will leave a good review at Best Buy about it, and one for the fellow (Kevin) who helped me pull it down from its lofty perch at the store and ring me up…
