Joe Manchin and Krysten Sinema are Democrats in Name Only (DINOs).
They are in cahoots with the racist GOP insurrectionists in Congress. Their constituents should recall them immediately. Voting them out later Will be too late.
I guess you heard that Joe Manchin will not vote for the For the People Act to make voting easier and more representative of all of the people who call the United States their country, nor will he vote to overturn the filibuster. And Krysten Sinema will do the same.
These are the only two so-called Democrats in the Senate who won’t be voting for the Act and to end the filibuster. So, now we have to pray that Mitt Romney, Susan Collins, and/or Lisa Murkowski (GOP members who have had it with The Big Lie that Trump actually won the election) will have the balls to stand up once again to defeat GOP efforts to steal every future election we ever have. (Big Hint: Don’t hold your breath. They won’t.)
The GOP has introduced bills in 48 states (out of 50) to make voting harder for citizens to register to vote and to vote. (Why? Because Biden-Harris won the last election despite the GOPs multigenerational successful efforts to gerrymander counties and otherwise rig elections in their favor.) This is the last gasp of a racist, sexist, white supremacist, misogynistic party to remain in power. And they’re damned close to getting ‘er done. It’s scary as hell.
Every last Democratic, Independent and still-sane Republican voters MUST stand up against this blatant power grab by a party that has held too much sway for too long, leading the US into an oligarchic, plutocratic, authoritarian “haves and have nots” (rich and poor–bye bye, middle class) system that it will be nearly impossible to reverse, given their gerrymandering, election rigging, and mean-spirited attempts to remain in the catbird seats while the rest of us struggle just to survive.
Goodbye Social Security and Medicare.
Goodbye civil and equal rights for black, brown, yellow, red and LGBTQIA Americans.
Goodbye to affordable health care.
Goodbye to infrastructure.
Goodbye to the American Dream for all but the already well-off white males in our land.
If this happens, there will be an exodus from the United States that will leave the oligarchs and plutocrats scrambling for people to do their bidding. When other countries become more hospitable than our own, it’s time to look elsewhere for a place to call home.
Striving But Still Starving is no way to build a nation of willing workers.
We need to stand up against these fuckers (pardon my French). They are sea lampreys in human form. They don’t care who they bleed, starve and kill as long as there are other victims to latch onto to take their place.
THE GOP IS A GIANT CORPORATE SEA LAMPREY. IT HAS TO DIE.
AND ANY DEMOCRAT, INDEPENDENT OR REPUBLICAN, ELECTED OR NOT, WHO DOESN’T HELP KILL THE BEAST IS PART OF THE SAME WEB OF DECEIT AND PREDATION.
No one can sit this one out. This is the whole enchilada.
If WE THE PEOPLE is to mean anything in the future, WE THE PEOPLE HAVE TO BAND TOGETHER NOW TO MAKE SURE THE GOP LOSES ALL FUTURE ELECTIONS until they come to their fucking senses and start treating “the least of these” the way their Bibles demand. They’re a bunch of fucking traitorous hypocrites, the way things stand right now…
