will arrive in Costa Rica then!

I’m so excited I can’t think straight.
She will be here for nine days, unless I decide to kidnap her.
OK, I won’t do that. Scout’s honor.
But it’s terribly tempting.
We have a few plans, very few:
Visit a few animal-y places: Grecia feria (to see iguanas), animal rescue preserve, etc. (There are no zoos here. Costa Rica doesn’t believe in caging fully capable native species, or exotic ones, either. Costa Rica is massively animal welfare oriented! Hurray!)
Maybe take a short journey to see La Fortuna and a couple other world-renowned CR attractions.
I’ve asked Lisa to investigate Costa Rica online and see if there’s anything in particular that floats her boat.
Whatever she decides she wants to do, we will do. Absolutely!
Other than that, we will vegetate: rest, relax, and rejuvenate because she works her butt off and she needs a real vacation, one that allows for lazy days, Costa Rica’s world famous coffee in abundance, and Tico foods that will make her want to take Lizano Sauce back with her to the States. (It isn’t available there in stores, I hear. What a shame!)
I told her not to buy or bring sunscreen and insect repellent because I have enough to supply a village. I’ve just barely gotten through my first two small tubes of them and I’ve been here over two months.
FLOOF’S CAFE IS SOOOOO MUCH FUN!
Between now and then, she will be working feverishly during her one day off per week getting everything she wants loaded into FloofCafe.com that she has waiting in the wings. If you haven’t been there recently, please go again. And be sure to return at least every two to three weeks to see what she will be adding. She has me laughing every time I go there. (Heck, her product descriptions and headlines alone are worth the trip and the time!) She’s going to be adding other products, too — higher end blankets, mugs, and other goodies. She even has some Shakespearean snark to add to the mix (COMING SOON, just between you and me and the bedpost!).

Hey, it wouldn’t kill those of you who are reading this post to buy something to help pay for Lisa’s flight to and from Costa Rica to come see me, would it? If you see something you like — or something someone on your gift list would like for Christmas, Hanukkah or any of the other December holidays (or a birthday, or just because!) — now is the time to snag them and get them on their way to you!
I see several now that I want to buy. Lisa will bring them to me here in Costa Rica when she flies down. Costa Ricans are very polite, patient people, so the items I choose won’t be the sarcastic, snarky or swear-y ones for that reason, but there are many other options (and will be more as the days pass) to choose from. Try the “kittens” section to peruse those!
But if I were still living in the U.S., I’d be buying some of the other ones, too!!! “OMM my god, you’re annoying” “Here we f—–ng go again. I mean, good morning…” “Have yourself a merry little — (go look for the rest!)” “Spiritual as ____” “Breathing through your b——-t!” LOL!
The illustrations on these products are spot on, too.
What a clever friend I have!
And in 92 days we will be together again for nine magnificent days!
I can’t wait. But I have to. GRRRR!
