“Cadet Bones Spurs” (the guy with five military draft deferrals) wants a military parade for his birthday this year. And because, just coincidentally, the US Army will be celebrating its 250th birthday on “about” the same day, he has decided to “executive action” one into existence entirely without governmental approval.
But what if … ???
None of the news media showed up to cover the travesty?
Or nobody came to line the streets?
Or if, among the attendees who lined them, the vast majority were protesters holding up anti-Fuhrer/anti-Nazi slogans and signs?
What if someone (or a number of true patriots) in the parade itself, honoring their fealty to the US Constitution, peppered the review stand with bullets, containing all its “dignitaries” (sequestered securely, I’m sure, behind bulletproof glass) to show their displeasure at the way this administration is dismantling the republic? (Yeah, this would get them killed, but they would be considered valiant deaths by many of us in the same way Trump that considers Asli Babbit’s demise while trying to help overthrow the goverment a valiant death.)

I’m the last person on earth who would ever sanction or even suggest violence in response to political malpractice, but DJT has obliterated all norms and the end result is not going to be pretty unless the courts INTERVENE STRICTLY and send him and his co-conspirators to prison sooner rather than later FOR CONTEMPT OF COURT AND OBSTRUCTION OF JUSTICE. Birthday parades for dictators belong in countries run by dictators. Fortunately, thanks to the rule of law established by the Constituion and our founding fathers, we haven’t reached that point — yet. But if this birthday parade goes forward as planned, it will be just one more multimillion dollars nail in the coffin of the United States of America.
