I’m getting too drawn into the upcoming trial of The Former Guy. Gotta back it down significantly. It’s beginning to affect my life in negative ways.

Enough said.

What I will say is that if he doesn’t pay for his crimes with serious jail time, I will never trust the justice system again.  If what he “allegedly” did doesn’t pass muster as a high crime, nothing else ever will and we can kiss our experiment in representative democracy goodbye.

Here’s hoping for some actual JUSTICE TO BE DONE, not just to the people who have already paid the price for doing his bidding, but for those as yet unnamed who have been coconspirators all along, including members of Congress.
