I’ll be making an eight-minute presentation at the UCN today. I gave everyone a homework assignment beforehand. I’m curious to see how many people did it and how many people will be absent perhaps because they didn’t do it!
I’m going to talk about what it takes to write riveting copy so my networking partners (my “agents”) understand what it entails and why it’s so valuable–and why great copy writing costs what it does. (The money all comes back multiple times and it’s deductible as a business expense, but it still feels like a lot of money and is pretty scary to people on shoestring budgets.) Good writing looks easy to do. It’s not. It’s a dance. It takes lots of time to make it look easy!
The people who attend will get an earful and an eyeful. I have handouts, examples of good copy writing, and other goodies to give them so they won’t have to take notes and can just listen and (hopefully) enjoy the presentation… I hope someone takes photos so I can post them here later…
