Just a head’s up, so you know I haven’t died when I disappear for a week!

I’ll be absent from Facebook and from my blog(s) from August 7-13th while I welcome a friend from Southern California. We’ll be visiting Northwest Trek one day, a Native American gathering and museum outing  a couple days later, and Ruby Beach and the Hoh Rainforest two days after that, if everything goes acording to plan. I will take pictures, get permission from Tracey and the other attendees (Lisa and Jessie) to publish them, and will post them here (if I get their  permission). If I don’t, I’ll just post pix of myself in these places and write up a report afterward.

It’s gonna be fun!
