While the Biden team huddles to decide what the best road is to victory — whether that’s Joe staying in the race or endorsing Kamala Harris and whoever she wants as her running mate — I am going on record right now to say I am with whatever they decide.

I will be voting BLUE in ALL offices up and down the ballot in November because this election is literally existential for the future of our democratic republic.

Trump, his far-right Supreme Courts Justices and his Congressional malcontents are so far off the rails that we won’t have the country our Founders established after 2025 if they prevail in November, and it would be a crying shame to bail on our nation’s legacy one year before the 250th celebration of our independence from Great Britain.

And because if Trump gets back in, I’m getting out of this country. I really don’t want to feel compelled to do that, but I will feel so compelled if that is the nation voters decide to live under. Not me.

I’m am in the crosshairs on too many fronts: a vocal Trump/far-right critic, transgender, and a “woman” (AFAB). I know what Hitler did in Germany to the folks he deemed “undesirables” and Trump and  his compatriots have the same groups in their sights.

It will get ugly, now that the Supreme Court has his back and can rubber stamp his depravities. There will be no safe place in America for diversity, equity or inclusion.  All safeguards will be pushed aside just as the safety barriers were smashed on January 6th, 2021 when Trump incited his minions to invade the Capitol and go after Nancy Pelosi, Vice President Pence and whoever else stood in the way of their insane plan to “Stop the Steal” that was not a steal at all, but the result of a valid election.

Violence will rule the day.

So, whatever the Biden-Harris team decide, I will support them, because they have had my back every step of the way.  They have an amazing track record, and I expect it will continue no matter who leads the efforts forward.
