I am feeling SOOO accomplished!
Take a look at my den today:
The items on the shelves are destined to various friends’ homes
or to two big notebooks I’ve ordered to retain some original photos and other treasures.
Three weeks ago, as you may recall, I could barely turn around in this den because of the 281 journals and eight plastic bins of Kelley/Trek/other treasures that I put in there to wade through.
Today all 281 journals have been saved to PDF files for everlasting safe keeping and the originals burned (well, most of the pages were! and it was mighty painful, in all honesty!) and my living room is jammed with Kelley/Trek treasures that need new homes before I fly away to my new home in Costa Rica in September:

The following Saturday, June 14th, I will have a DeForest Kelley/StarTrek/Misc Goodies Garage Sale, so I will invite the attendees to visit that too if they’d like some remaining goodies from my personal collection, if there are any remaining by then. I’m only doing garage sales until the end of February and then taking two months off until the weather improves and more garage sales afficionados are out and about.

I will also have several hardbound and softcover editions of the original 2001 edition of the above title called DeForest Kelley A Harvest of Memories: My Life and Times with a Remarkable Gentleman Actor at this event. It is no longer in circulation and the last part covers more of DeForest Kelley’s last few months in the hospital than the 2016/5oth anniversary of Star Trek edition (listed above) does. I recommend the 2016 edition over the 2001 edition because there is a lot more of the fun times we shared and less of his hospital days at the end of his life. The 2001 edition (hard cover will be $25 each and the softcover will be $20 each. Some fans like having both copies.)
