Have You Ever Noticed? Trumps’s People All Act Like Abused Silenced Hostages

May 12, 2025

Have you ever noticed? Trumps’s people look — and act — like abused, silenced hostages, like terrorized children.

Observe their body language in every image. Do they look like free, happy people?

No, they look and act just like terrorized hostages.

I noticed this first years ago whenever he stood publicly with the women in his life, with his wives and daughters. They all stand with their hands clasped in front of their genitals, a defensive posture, looking emotionless as can be, rarely with smiles on their faces until he looks right at them, apparently gauging their public performance abilities.

So do Trump’s grandchildren, even the boys raised by Donald Jr and Eric.  They look like silenced, abashed, fearful young beings.

Praise Daddy/Granddad

Don’t cause him to become angry.  You know what happens when he gets angry. Go along to get along. No griping, no self-defense. Just be good little recipients and do whatever daddy demands.  Or else…

But now I see it in his most recent Cabinet, too

(I saw it in Mike Pence, too. Fortunately, he still did the right thing when push came to shove, so good for him. This new crop certainly won’t!)

When T-Wrecks makes any kind of appearance where members of his Cabinet are in tow, they look abjectly miserable … abused … emotionally shut down …

Look at the footage of the meetings with Zelenskyy and the new PM of Canada.  In the Zelenskyy event, only Trump and Vance are animated, and not in a good way. In a harassing, mean-spirited, disrespectful, inciteful way.  The rest of the retinue in the room looking on — Rubio and all the rest — look cowed, embarrassed, fearful, and stymied. Like hostages witnessing yet another atrocity without claiming any agency to do anything about it.

And when his cabinet has to face him, they have to come with emotional alms for poor Donnie Boy, with congratulations and overblown praise because he can’t stand it when people treat him like an equal, or even like a President. That’s too anemic for him.  He craves and demands to be honored, revered, praised, worshipped, and adored. Nothing else is adequate.  Nothing else is sufficient.

It’s pathetic.

All he’d have to do to GENUINELY get what he wants

would be to behave like a decent human being and a thoughtful, responsible leader. But that’s well beyond his capacity, as it would be for anyone who is a case of arrested development. His malignant narcissism keeps him stuck in the “me, me, me” stage, about age two or three.  Watch his body language. Listen to his words. Imagine them inside the body of a two- or three-year-old coddled, spoiled brat.  I WANT WHAT I WANT, AND A WANT IT NOW!

It’s s real shame.  Not just for him, but for the country and the world.

The Toddler in Chief cannot make hostages of us all; we’re neither his caregivers nor his cult.

Those of us still outside his insidious web of crime and capriciousness certainly have our work cut out for us…

That’s for sure.

But if this nation is to survive, we need to do the work.

STAY WOKE!
