Happy Birthday to Me — My Last One in the Un-tied States

March 5, 2025

Today Lisa, Edward and I got together for a birthday lunch in Yelm. It was great fun!.

I gave Edward a few treasures which I’m sure he’ll cherish: two Thomas Blackshear sculptures and a tiger head (not a real tiger head, of course!!!). Images below…

The Heirs

And a Child Shall Lead Them

I can’t imagine anyone who would cherish them more. Edward raised a lion (Auroara) from a cub to his passing at 15+ plus years. He’s an environmentalist, deeply committed to human and animal wellbeing. We’ve been friends for nearly 50 years.

Thank you, Lisa, for buying my lunch!

Next week Judi Cooper says she wants to take me to lunch for my birthday. WHEE!   Judi is another of my favorite people and one of my longest time friends, since we were about age three and six!

Looking forward to it.

Thank you for all the birthday wishes on my FB timeline!
