Had a Weird Dream Last Night

January 10, 2023

I had the weirdest dream last night.  I dreamed that the area where I had my panniculectomy a couple years ago was ejecting knitting needles!

The act of them ejecting themselves was painless, and there was no blood or ooze;just pristine knitting needles (without heads on either end). They just started peeking out of my skin, and I was able to pull them all the way out without pain.

Then I began to wonder and worry that maybe the process didn’t hurt ONLY because the area of my surgery is still numb-feeling; you could probably shoot me there and I wouldn’t feel a thing (except down deeper). So, I wondered if I should push them back in and call my doctor to see if I should come in and have it checked out.

(YA THINK!!!!???)

Yeah, it was a nutty dream. I have no idea what it meant, if anything.  I do know that I have wondered a time or two (or more) while awake if I would know if anything was going wrong underneath the numb spots, so that’s probably where the dream came from.

That’s all, folks!  That’s all I have to report beyond what I reported in my earlier blog post today.

Enjoy the rest of your day!
