Here are the best images from today’s walkabout…

There was a raven-sized (or larger) black bird
with a light-colored beak feasting on the fruit of the above tree.
It was raising such a ruckus that I couldn’t help but notice.
But by the time I pulled my phone out, it had flown away.

This is the 27th anniversary of the passing of my dear mother, Dorothea Hope Smith. Those who knew and loved her (and all who knew her did adore her) will probably find this date a solemn moment to remember the treasure that she was to all of us…
