More Work! Wheeeee!!!!

April 2, 2014

Oh, the life of a Creative!  We never know if the phone will ring again or if another job will ever come over the ‘Net. Then suddenly it does. A new client “discovers” me or is referred to me and can’t seem to get enough–until they run out of stuff for me to write for them! But by then they’re referring others to me, so I get a little farther along the road to putting enough money in the bank so that some of it actually stays there.  How cool that would be!

It’s a roller coaster existence, to be sure!

The gentleman I told you about a few days ago (Keith from Decatur, Georgia, where my mentor DeForest Kelley went to high school) had me write an employment opportunity description (which I shared with you), then a video script (which he loved).

Today he had me edit and copy-enhance a flyer for him. I just finished a video script for him a couple of weeks ago. He wants me to copy-edit and enhance his website eventually, too. We just have to decide whether to edit and copy-enhance what’s there now or re-envision it entirely to the bring it to the level I’d like to see it achieve.  After all, a top-notch school should have an top-notch site and I would LOVE to make that happen for him.  I would just LOVE it!
