Feelin’ Giddy!

November 1, 2024

I started feeling giddy,  cheerful, and completely relaxed last night after listening to the MeidasTouch data nerds re the upcoming election.

I have felt all along that the vast majority of this nation is so sick ad tired of T’s repugnant attitudes and behaviors that they’re eager to turn the page and never have to  think about him ever again.

Based on what the data analysts are seeing, when they throw out all the junk polls that the GOP has inserted into the mix to help them make the bogus claim that this election, too, was “stolen,” they’re feeling rather confident that Harris will eke out a victory, and not even just by a little. It could well be a blue tsunami, which would make the Trump party not just obsolete, but the laughingstock of the nation and the world. Can you imagine his chagrin to lose not only tp Biden in 2020 but to lose to Kamala Harris in 2024?  He has such a low opinion of strong women, an dof people of color, that a win for her would utterly destroy him.  Beaten by a white man is one thing; beaten by a woman of color would be a whole other level of shame.  No one should feel shame when someone as articulate, compassionate and accomplished as Kamala Harris beats them, man or woman, but T’s ego won’t allow him to absorb the reality that she’s a better human being, and will be a far better president, than he could ever even dream of being.

I think the GOP as it is presently constituted needs to be voted to its knees and shackled in ignomy until it figures what what the rest of the world already knows: it is a dinosaur, hit by a meteor, in the last throes of its existence as a misogynist, racist white male supremacist ideology.

Goodbye, sayonara, don’t let the door hit you in the ass on your way out.

We’re turning the page!
