This morning from 7:05 to about 8:30 I did my “soccer field walk” exercise down at what I will call “three corners” from now on.
There were only two others on the exercise field today, so it felt a little lonely, but Crystal says she will be joining me on Mondays and Tuesdays, so that will be fun. She’s just getting started, so she probably won’t walk as many times around as I do, but I can always finish my 7500 steps after I walk her home up at my own place.
After the “official” exercise, I stopped at the Super and the other mini mart to get a few more things for the fridge. If I get a few things tomorrow and Tuesday I will have enough to sustain Lisa and myself until we shop the feria on Friday, so I’m going to do that. I still have enough colones to get a few more items plus my debit card if I need it.
When I got back home, I walked with Charli around this acreage for about another thirty minutes or so (slowly, at her “investigatory” pace) so I’m up to 8,399 steps at noon (so far). Yesterday I put in more than 10K steps.
Exercise here is much easier on my left foot, so it is beginning to act 99% normal again. My knees and “steep climb” muscles, ligaments and tendons don’t get overly exerted here.
I’m typing this while sitting on my back patio. It’s a glorious day, not too cool. There’s a slight breeze but it’s warm, so it feels perfect to me.
I swept the apartment this morning
Having ceramic tile throughout makes keeping this place pristine a breeze. The cat litter that Jon and Francisco recommended (Bentonite) is a dream. It doesn’t track much, and it stays pristine because I scoop it at least two times a day, so the remainder never gets yucky. It always looks freshly poured.
Guess that’s all I have for now. Short but sweet!
Enjoy the rest of your day!
