Happy Easter to those of you who celebrate.
First thing I did this morning after liberating the chickens from the predator-proof part of their pen was clean the fish tank.
It was time and I had the energy.
I’d been looking at it for days and thinking, “Yeah, gotta do that … but not today.” It isn’t a quick process. It takes about an hour, all told. Fortunately, it doesn’t need to be done all that often, but when it’s time, it’s time!
Now, my fish and aquatic frogs are happy, so I’m happy.
End of that report!
What else?
I’m put some bag balm on Mr. Tumnus’s lower legs today. He has been scratching and biting them, to a point where he has rubbed or chewed off some of the hair, so I dunked them two days ago with soap, water and apple cider vinegar, and today I’m going to coat them in bag balm to see if that helps them feel better so he isn’t bothered by them. The original dunk seems to have helped, so the bag balm should seal the deal.
Not much else to report, so I’ll shut up and let you get on with your day!
