BRIEF REVIEW
Use a brochure format for any of the following reasons:
- to respond to inquiries
- to establish yourself in the marketplace
- to give product, service or program info to customers and prospects
- to help your sales force get appointments or close sales
- to promote your product, service or program
Features versus Benefits
Given a choice between features and benefits, your sales brochure should predominantly display the benefits of your product, service or program. Examples:
Smoke alarms raise a ruckus so occupants are informed of a potential fire hazard that may be brewing.
Swim fins help swimmers get farther faster.
Eyeglasses help people get around safely, read more easily, and see more clearly.
If /features/specifications (sizes, dimensions, colors, configurations, models, etc.) are required, put them on a page by themselves in smaller print or with specific photos of the items they refer to.
