I Brake for Limericks – Ready for Some Smiles?

March 10, 2014

The thunder god went for a ride

Upon his favorite filly

“I’m THOR!” he cried

His horse replied,

“You forgot your thaddle, thilly!”

There was an old man from Blackheath

Who sat on his pair of false teeth

He cried out with a start

“Oh, Lord, bless my heart

I’ve bitten myself underneath!”

I wrote the next one for Carolyn and DeForest Kelley (remember, Dr. McCoy hated the transporter beam):

It isn’t all a bad dream

I’m as stuck on you as I seem

If you had your druthers

You might prefer others

Or even the transporter beam!

(oh … *sigh* … guess not!)
