My plecos will be going to Aquarium Paradise in Lakewood this week and next. It’s time. I have close to 100 of them by now, I think!
Lisa and I rode our bikes from Orting to South Prairie today. For Lisa, it was her first bike trip in nearly two years, so she loved it. We’re gonna be doing it once a week until it gets too cold this fall to do so.
My co-host Hannah McCrane and I are trying to find a way to phone interview Phil Weyland soon so we can play it back on the next EVER NEW on August 5th. I’m considering discontinuing EVER NEW after that, so I really want to get that interview in the can before I pull the plug on the show.
My hens should start laying eggs in about six weeks now. I’m really looking forward to that. There is nothing like farm fresh, pasture raised eggs. And when I say farm fresh, I mean recently laid, not the eggs you get in stores which are usually several weeks to several months old. There’s simply no comparison.
Jackie and her brood return from their 8-day to the Dominican Republic tomorrow morning bright and early. I hope they had as much fun there as Lisa and I have had here in the Pacific NW these past eight days!
