I’ve been reading about Divine Masculine and Divine Feminine energies and have come up with two more categories to bring to consciousness.
Whenever we aren’t in “divine” mode, operating out of unconditional love in every instance with all beings into which we come into contact (or think about), we can fall into two lower vibration/energy categories, which I will call (because they rhyme with Divine) Benign Masculine and Feminine energies, and Malign Masculine and Feminine energies.
To my mind, Divine Masculine and Feminine mindsets come from our essence, the essence we were born with before the caregivers in our lives started to “educate” us into naming and separating beings into various categories: good people, bad people, good animals, bad animals, good foods, bad foods, good (safe) water and bad (polluted or dangerous) water.
As soon as we began segregating all that surrounds us into “not us, but something different or alien,” we began to judge everything based on the ways in which we were taught to evaluate them by older, supposedly wiser caregivers (parents, teachers, older siblings, etc.). And that’s why there are indigenous cultures that embrace our planet as “Mother” and the universe as a “Great Spirit” while others (especially in the western world) view our place in the grand scheme of things (“manifest destiny”) as “man versus nature, man versus man, man versus himself, man versus the elements.”
Masculine and Feminine energies exist is all things. Men have feminine energies and women have masculine energies.
Divine Energy People
Among the most well-known Divine Masculine and feminine Energy people are/were the Dalai Lama, Bishop Desmond Tutu, Jimmy Carter, Maya Angelou, Fred Rogers, Barack and Michelle Obama, DeForest Kelley, and others whose lives, activism and advocacy never betray their essential integrity. These people exude lovingkindness. None of them had easy lives. Most of them were bullied and maligned as kids for various reasons. They just never lost their inherent “spark of the divine” (list of divine characteristics follow in the bullet list below).
Divine Energy people don’t make enemies. (They have enemies, to be sure, but they are not enemy-creators. That is, they don’t rattle sabers or do or say anything that would tend to cause cause people to fear them.) Only intentionally indoctrinated souls would find any of these individuals hate- or fear-worthy. They all possess the following characteristics:
- They possess exemplary listening skills. They listen to understand fully the speaker’s perspective.
- Their judgments are based on extended, compassionate observations, not knee-jerk reactions.
- Their gentleness and patience is praise-worthy and patently obvious.
- They’re generous without expecting anything in return. Giving is its own reward.
- They respect others’ feelings and needs even when they don’t possess the same feelings or needs.
- They’re honest but not brutally so. Their honesty feels like blessings and insights, not critiques or criticisms.
- They’re open to expressing their love.
- They don’t lie.
- They’re unfailingly grateful.
- They’re forgiving.
- They’re habitually happy.
Benign Energy people
Benign energy people vibrate at noticeably lower levels. They don’t generate a lot of love-loathing blowback because they don’t offer appreciable levels of love or loathing, They’re decent folks who believe in “live and let live.” There aren’t a lot of well-known examples of benign energy people because they don’t stand out much. They may be victims of “taming” as youngsters so they’ve had their internal candlies snuffed out. They go along to get along, don’t create waves, and go through life with as little trouble and turmoil (and pomp and circumstance) as they can. Among these folks are introverts, shy people, a lot of needlessly fearful or ashamed people, and others who prefer to fly under the radar.
Malign Energy People
There are so many present malign energy people that it’s going to be hard naming just six or eight of them, but here goes: Newt Gingrich, Sarah Palin, Donald Trump, Lauren Boebert, Marjorie Taylor Greene, and the late Rush Limbaugh. These are/were all far-right Republicans whose vitriolic, mean-spirited characteristics make them look like Neanderthals. (My apologies to Neanderthals.) How they expect to win elections is beyond me. (Oh, that’s right. The GOP is so dedicated to stealing elections that they accuse DEMS of doing so, and they take no time, ever, to consider ways to actually win them, but that’s probably because they know they are dinosaurs and would be voted out if they proclaimed their true intentions, which is to keep rich white men in the catbird’s seat at the expense of absolutely every other living soul on the planet, animal and human.)
Malign energy people vibrate at far lower, slower energy levels. That’s because they’re primarily fear-based (despite their ludicrous proclamation that they’re faith-based). Guns are their darlings, bigotry their calling. They definitely see an “us versus them” world that benign energy and divine energy people don’t recognize as sane, let alone healthy. They’re scared to death that when (not if, when!) the tables are turned, the rest of us will treate them the way they have treated us during the past almost 400 years of our nation’s existence. (None of us have that in mind, but they can’t believe that. They simply can’t believe that we aren’t as vindictive as they are.)
Earth from Space – The Overview Effect
Every human being who has gone into space — astronaut, cosmonaut, or civilian — has returned to Earth with a profound understanding of our place in the cosmos and of our kinship with all life on this planet. They no longer think in terms of maps and boundaries, but in terms of the universal risk that our bigotries and rapacious appetites for natural resources pose to the continuing survival of this big blue marble and everything and everyone on it, animal and human.
Unless we embrace our Divine Masculine and Feminine energies without delay and use them to course correct, what we will leave the next generations will have them damning us with their last breaths.
We need to do better.
