Ginny Thomas, Insurrectionist Cheerleader

It seems to me that Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas should remove himself from the Court or be impeached.  His wife has been implicated in encouraging the insurrectionists in Trump’s thrall to overturn the legitimate election of Joe Biden. And he has refused to recuse himself from cases regarding the insurrection. Why is something not being done about this?

 

We “mere” citizens see these things happening and we see too damned little being done about them. How are we to believe that we are “a nation of laws, not of men and women,” when we see so many powerful people get away with anti-American stunts that threaten to decapitate our nation?

 

I don’t understand. Make it make sense.

 

The gloves are off when it comes to the GOP. THEY DON’T CARE IF WE LOSE OUR NATIONAL IDENTITY AS LONG AS THEY END UP REMAINING IN THE CATBIRD’S SEAT. They will lie, cheat and steal to make sure the votes don’t count that will count them out.  They don’t want everyone to vote. They want their people to vote and no one else.  If they can’t have it that way, they gerrymander districts so the votes will fall their way. They have no souls. They are vacant, soul-less evildoers. They make a mockery of “all men and women are created equal.” They don’t believe it and won’t allow it.

 

They must be taken out, by the ballot if possible. If they successfully sabotage that avenue, other more permanent options may be next if we want to preserve, protect and defend the Constitution of the United States. They are traitors to the cause of freedom and justice for all Americans.

 

They are not the GOP of my mother’s time.  They have morphed into something unrecognizable and indefensible except to other devils. The party of Lincoln has become the party of Trump and his minions. “By any means necessary.”

 

They are not patriots. They are terrorists and autocratic tyrants. They’re the KKK in street clothes, no longer hiding from the law. They are underway to become the law. And woe be it to us if they succeed. In the immortal words of Thomas Paine:

“THESE are the times that try men’s souls. The summer soldier and the sunshine patriot will, in this crisis, shrink from the service of their country; but he that stands by it now, deserves the love and thanks of man and woman. Tyranny, like hell, is not easily conquered; yet we have this consolation with us, that the harder the conflict, the more glorious the triumph. What we obtain too cheap, we esteem too lightly: it is dearness only that gives every thing its value. Heaven knows how to put a proper price upon its goods; and it would be strange indeed if so celestial an article as FREEDOM should not be highly rated.”
